Dealing With Negative Google Reviews
When people feel they have been mistreated at a place, or they just didn’t like the place they visited, they simply leave a negative Google Review.
In some extreme cases, some will even write fake negative google reviews to hurt their competition — I’m looking at you BenDover6969.
In the case of fake reviews, it can be very frustrating for the owner, because it may hurt their business. I look on Google Reviews before I visit a restaurant for example.
There are many times I have had second thoughts about visiting a place after seeing comments about people being mistreated. Sometimes they were true, but most of them it was nothing like the review described.
This is very logical since bad experiences can occur everywhere. It is up to the people to decide how they will handle them.
Don’t get me wrong. I am not against negative Google reviews.
They can be a valuable tool since they can be informative for bad things happening at certain places. I have been on the receiving side of negative google reviews.
