Even though I would not recommend that for new writers-- since it's a slippery slope because... you know... plagiarism-- what I would recommend is to read a lot of successful writers, or listen to a lot of successful podcasts and try to copy their success. Are you seeing something you like from an x, y, or z person? Cool. Copy it, but remember to add a little personal twist to it.

Loved the article man. Personally, it took me 2 months after being accepted to the program to make my first $1000 of Medium. I'm pretty sure anyone can do it.
