F**k Passion, I’d Rather Go With Consistency
I’ve lived this firsthand. Going all in. Driven by passion. Expecting to have results.
The result? One failure after the other.
I mean don’t get me wrong, having passion is great. It’s the motivating force you need to drive you forward. It’s what reveals the next big idea to you. It’s what people recognize in your work and makes them appreciate it.
It’s also not the only ingredient you need to be successful.
Success has a different meaning to every one of us.
One Man’s Failure Is Another Man’s Success
Who said that? Me. Am I the first one? Probably not.
Someone wants to be rich. They invest $100 in stock and get $1000 as a return after a month. They consider themselves to have failed. They are still not rich.
That may be a huge success for someone else. Getting X10 return in one month is the GOAT. They have just made a month’s rent.
So, you see, success is subjective.
