I find this part very interesting!

You know there's something called the K and r selection theory in nature. This means that different animals follow different strategies when it comes to their offspring--which people claim humans tend to do as well.

The r-selected species because they live in very unstable environments need to procreate as much as possible to continue their species-- think of tunas, they lay millions of eggs but only a few survive.

The K-selected species live in a more stable environment which makes them give birth to only a specific number of offspring--think of elephants and chimpanzees where on average, they give birth to 6-12 babies in their entire lifetime.

This selection has also been noticed in different human cultures and tribes throughout evolution.

Now, Tate's reasoning is idiotic I get it, but human reproduction strategies are very interesting!

I think that these behaviors that you mentioned in your article aren't misogynistic or anything related to that, but instead, they're related to the lack of accountability and immaturity.

At the end of the day, if you're happy to join another human's journey through life, nothing else should matter.

In my personal experience, I've seen a lot of single mothers being content with themselves and having their sh*t figured out--which helped them find other partners, but I've also come across single mothers that lead chaotic lives. It all comes down to the person and how willing you are, to be honest and communicative with your partner.

I loved your insights, Carlyn! :)
