My 3 Tech-Related Predictions For 2030

These are my biggest fears and they should be yours too.

The past few days I’ve been traveling around Europe and I’ve noticed a lot of differences to the good ol’ Balkans where I’m from.

People are different, and technology plays a very big part in today’s world. From getting your groceries at the supermarket all the way to bureaucratic procedures, technology is everywhere.

It’s not only that.

Social media is also being used by 99.9% of young people and finding a person that’s not on Instagram or TikTok is extremely difficult. Whenever I meet someone they ask me for my Instagram and it’s always the same awkward conversation of why I’ve deleted my social media.

Like a lot of people, I’m very worried how the world will change in the next upcoming years.

Here’s what I think will happen by 2030.

This is my biggest fear and it’s one of the reasons I’m trying to abstain from using any type of social media that doesn’t have end-to-end encryption — like WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, etc.
