Here’s How My Failed Business Made Me Successful
It was August 2020, COVID-19 was still a thing and while I was scrolling through TikTok, — I came up with an idea that changed the course of my life.
The idea? To start my own business.
I was young and stupid — these two parameters are essential for an amazing story — and I really wasn’t able to see how much this decision would affect my life.
Looking back I regret nothing because the business I ended up starting and running taught me some valuable lessons that made me successful.
The Background
As I said while I was scrolling through TikTok I came up with a — what then seemed revolutionary — idea. I came across a video from a doctor explaining a surgery he was about to perform.
After watching that video something clicked. There was a gap in the market and it was that doctors and other healthcare professionals aren’t promoting themselves online, especially where I come from in Greece.
In the next couple of weeks, I started learning more about what a business that would promote healthcare professionals needs to do, the skills needed, how to acquire said skills, and overall similar successful businesses.
