One Year With My M1 MacBook Pro 14inch Later (A mini-review)
I do not have any particular love for Apple. I have been through many laptops and many operating systems over my life. I do not have the habit of changing computers frequently unless they cannot handle the work I do.
In 2018 I bought a MacBook Air to suit my everyday needs. These were some e-mail exchanging, internet browsers, some text editing using Microsoft Word, and the occasional PowerPoint presentation. I used my Desktop PC for everything else (such as gaming now and then).
By 2021, my needs grew, and I wanted something faster with more power. I needed something to handle some simulation software I used. In addition, I felt like the MacBook Air was overall not as fast as I wanted, so I set out to buy a new laptop.
I decided to buy the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro processor and 16GB of RAM. This is my review after 1 year of usage.
What does my everyday use consist of?
I use it for normal stuff such as browsing the web, sending e-mails, and using some Microsoft Excel.
My heavier usage consists of image editing using Photoshop, video editing using Final Cut, some music recording and editing with Logic, and finally…
