This could have been an amazing article that would spark many discussions and act as food for thought for many people, but—like always— it’s filled with the same rhetoric and confirmation bias regarding ‘feminism’, ‘manosphere’ etc
AfD started as an economical liberal, Eurosceptic, Conservative Party but due to the change of leadership within the party, its views changed.
The reason why AfD—and many, right wing parties all over Europe — are getting more supporters in such high rates the past couple of years is not due to feminism, or toxic masculinity, it’s because people are starting to get tired of the situation they’re living in.
Inflation, high rents, unbelievably high prices at grocery stores, cultural “attack” in Europe, constant exposure to information, all acts as fertile for a right wing ground—look at WW2.
There is a massive problem because men and women nowadays are opposed when it comes to politics—you’re right— but the reason is different, and in my opinion it stems from social media and political/economical agendas.
The fact that the birth rate in Europe and the US is dropping rapidly, will cause a massive issue very soon, and the more we fight over pointless things, such as who should have more power, statistics to confirm feministic beliefs —which many you’ve linked in the past were anecdotal—which is the “right” way to have a relationship the more this gap between men and women will increase. And the darker the abyss.
Men and women are meant to coexist, the more we align ourselves with nature, the happier we are. Food for thought.
