My first-ever NFT was made using creative coding.

Creative coding refers to the use of programming languages and software as a medium for creating art, design, and interactive experiences. Generative art is a specific form of art that is generated by the use of algorithms.

In other, simpler words, I write code in Javascript (using the p5js library).

This code is a set of instructions that generate an image. Like a painter, but instead of brushes, pens, and pencils, I use programming as my toolkit and a screen as my canvas.
